Plants and Polinators at Willow Gallery Oswestry!

Hillfort Poster 2

The Artists Hugging the Hillfort exhibition is alongside a sister exhibition Plants and Polinators curated by Tereska Shepherd of Blossoms Gallery Aberystwyth. The two complement each other perfectly, reminding us all of the preciousness of our ecology and celebrating the beauty of nature.

Plenty to see and experience at the gallery for the next three weeks, and watch this space for details of our closing event on Saturday afternoon 21st May.

Today at the opening of The Willow Gallery Spring Open Exhibition featuring the two related exhibitions Plants and Polinators and Artists Hugging the Hillfort, Lindsay Chaplin provided a large selection of some absolutely scrummy Hillfort cakes full of good and very tasty things! The cakes were decorated with “iced ramparts” and beautifully and enticingly  presented! On Saturday 21st May for the closing event, Lindsay’s will be offering a large decorated Hillfort cake as part of the Hillfort raffle being run at the gallery. We’ll be drawing the raffle on that day, so why not drop in during the next three weeks and see this stunning exhibition and buy some tickets – there are lots of prizes and they include some original artworks by some of the exhibiting artists. Proceeds of the raffle are towards the Hands Off Old Oswestry Hillfort campaign costs.
