Dear Artists

Artist

Holly Hayward

has invited us to meet at her place for our next get-together which is on Thursday 28th July from 2.0-4.0 pm. Holly draws and paints some beautiful works. Attached are some examples of her iconic  works 12626119_10153915252590522_1991832303_non Old Olswestry Hillfort. They so aptly reflect the reactions of many people to the prospect of house building on the setting of this amazing heritage asset, in danger of being not only ignored, but even desecrated, when there are so many other options to choose for housing in and around Oswestry.

We are hoping that the power of Gwenhwyfar herself will make our Councillors see sense.12418865_1097815376904559_7141122010940994459_o

Holly will need to know rough idea of numbers so that the caretaker of the village hall ( which she lives next to in Lower Hordley) can unlock the car park for safe parking.https://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/village+hall+near+Hordley,+Lower+Hordley/@52.7925786,-2.9639077,12z/data=!3m1!4b1

Holly would love you all to bring sketchbooks and photographs of your work so we might have a discussion on where everyone is “at” with their artworks.

Artists of “all stripes” are most welcome!

(Inside out is a flexible, welcoming and “open” group without membership fees)

Please either respond to this post, or let Diana know by email dianabaur@hotmail.com if you can join us.

(Could also perhaps arrange car share. Just get in touch.)

There is no Sign for Sycamore view. We are a cluster of 10 white houses on a T junction. If most people are travelling Via Queens Head on the A5 then following the ABP truck signs will take them up to ours on the left in Lower Hordley, Just before the junction. Take the left turn to park at the village hall.
