A four minute clip well worth listening to.

How art can be participated of……..how the interaction with nature makes it an ongoing experience……..Indeed when we look at the aged greek sculptures with bits missing and possibly without their coloured painted surface we are looking at and enjoying art that has aged and matured to a point of beauty that involves natural processes.

In the painting process artists, many artists not only allow for, but create situations in which random happenings occur, the drip the splash the smear – natural marks, the echo of nature seem to always enrich man’s hand. Taken further the use of natural materials such as sand and earth can create the same situation. (Diana)
