RELIEF SCULPTURE (2 day workshop £145.00)

Staffordshire – Sat 31st May & Sun 1st June – 9.30am to 4.30pm

This two day sculpture workshop is a comprehensive introduction to the processes of modelling bas-relief (low relief) sculpture in clay followed by making a plaster of Paris waste mould and fine plaster cast of the original sculpture. You will learn new skills and leave with a good understanding of the process plus your own finished cast plaster relief sculpture.


Stafford – Tuesday 3rd June – 9.30am to 4.30pm

Birmingham – Tuesday 15th July – 9.30am to 4.30pm

This workshop explores the creative potential of mould making and casting and a variety of materials and techniques including; clay press moulds, plaster bandage, repeat casts and flexible rubber moulds. The workshops also looks at life casting, using the hand as the subject.

You will leave with knowledge of a range of processes and a good understanding of the creative potential of moulding and casting plus your own creations from the workshop.

Both workshops are suitable for a range of abilities from beginners looking to develop new skills to accomplished professionals. The workshops are very practical with tutor demonstrations throughout and supported by clear teaching resources.
