On the first Wednesday in October, with cloudy skies and rain drops and that beginning of autumn/winter feel about it, it was great to arrive at
Jim’s studio in Chirk where we were greeted by the cosy warmth of his woodburning stove.
Jim gave us some insights into his working methods and materials and his latest project in Oswestry – a gigantic mural on red brick walls in the alley way next to Wilkinsons, right near the Train mural opposite.
After over an hour of discussion we were then invited down to have tea and cakes in Jim and Jenny’s cosy kitchen diner, and where Jim was able
to show us the progress of the mural on his laptop. Huge thanks to both Jim and Jen for a lovely afternoon get together.
