Dark and Light: A happening in Hermon Chapel Oswestry
Saturday 28th September 8pm.
On the 28th September the intimate and beautiful grade 2* listed Hermon Chapel will play host to a fascinating and unique blending of music, art and literature. This will truly be a unique event exploring the theme of light and dark. Featuring art installations by Diana Baur and Jas Davidson which contrast the permanence and heaviness of mundane and sometimes un-wanted thoughts with the fleeting nature and lightness of inspirational creative thoughts. Their work, and the whole event itself, will be brought alive by spectacular light projections both inside, and outside, the chapel.
Complementing these events will be poetry, story-telling, flamenco dancing, and a melee of music from ambient to jazz, folk and blues. We are especially privileged to close the evening with a very rare performance by members for the legendary experimental band Pram.
Through the evening there will be a fully licensed bar along with artisan snacks. Tickets are just £5 from Outwhere records in Oswestry.
