Geoff's boxes

Photographic Exhibition of ‘Life in Boxes ’

by Geoff Armitage

At The Heritage Centre, Oswestry

2nd April until 27th April

We sometimes do not see all that is around us and miss the significance of mundane things. Boxes: they are part of our everyday life and it is easy to pass them by unnoticed. These images are some observations of how boxes are used in our lives. I hope you enjoy them and find them interesting.

Geoff Armitage worked for a brief period, in the 1960s, as an industrial, press and TV stills photographer. This was followed by a career in engineering culminating in teaching.

Lived in London then Hampshire and recently, for 12 years, in France and now, in Gobowen.

Photography has always been an important hobby over the years and with the number of art and photographic groups in the area it has been an incentive to stage this exhibition.
