Dunbabin Gallery Exhibitions
Ugandan Photo Diaries- Dolen Ffermio Exhibition
23rd June – 7th July
Ugandan Photo Diaries is an Exhibition by young people from 3 schools in Kumi North Eastern Uganda linked to schools in Wales through the charity Dole Ffermio (Farming Link). The project initiated by photographer Cordelia Weedon and gives the young Africans a voice of their own, and shows life from a personal perspective, different from the one often portrayed through western eyes. The Exhibition also shows other work done by Dolen Ffermio.

21 Years Border Embroiders Exhibition
9th July-14th July
Featuring a special Olympic embroidery panel and artwork by many of the county’s most skilled embroiders this exhibition is sure to inspire.

Spanish Influence Exhibition

The Willow Gallery is privileged to have the work of Spanish artists Boris de Benito Martinez, Ana Villaneva, Rosa Fierro, Manuel Garcia and Pedro Fresnadillo for this special exhibition, alongside the work of well-known local artists Cordelia Weedon, Liz Mellor, John Neilson, John Wrag, Daphne Bursell, and the fabulous glasswork of Chrissie Smith.
A collection of Photographs, Paintings and Sculptures with a Spanish influence. Throughout May and June this Exhibition has continued to be successful and popular with gallery visitors, and with a Couple of weeks left you still have time to see these works in the Willow Gallery.
Mary Whitthread – Solo Exhibition

There are only two weeks left of this uplifting and atmospheric exhibition capturing the subtle colours and textures of the natural world, through the eyes of Mary Whitthread. ‘When technology offers an infinite array of the clearest of image, I can only offer a more personal diversion, of basic senses, light and shade, colour and texture that stimulate **a memory of somewhere or something, a feeling, almost intangible, slightly out of reach of the purely photograghical. Transient Nature – A British Exhibition
Monday 23rd July – Sat. 15th September
Preview Saturday 21st July. 7pm
Through a fabulous selection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, original prints, animation and textiles this exhibition celebrates the diversity of the British environment captured by local and nationally renowned artists. The gallery is also excited to feature a selection of artwork by some of Britain’s best known wildlife artists, as part of the RSPCA’s touring wildlife exhibition.
The special exhibition preview on Saturday 21st of July will be a great opportunity to meet many of the exhibiting artists and have first viewing on what promises to be a sell out exhibition.
