Please click on the link above to download this year’s Open Studios Leaflet. I am at Bronygarth (back of leaflet, top left) with Judy Greaves, Jacqui Dodds and Ben Broadbent. We all look forward to welcoming you there on the Saturdays and Sundays of 9th and 16th of June.

The BVA group show is already on at Oswestry Library where a piece of work from each open studios artist will be on display and leaflets are available there, in and around Oswestry in many public venues and also to download above or from the website. We hope you enjoy this annual event.

The BVA was established in 1999 to provide an informal network offering support and information to artists living in and around the Shropshire border town of Oswestry in the UK.

Information is circulated within the group using this website and a monthly information sheet.

The group holds regular meetings, part social part ‘talking shop’, and puts on an annual Open Studio event.

BVA members also have solo shows as well as occasional group exhibitions.

There are currently 68 members working in disciplines including painting, textiles, sculpture, photography, woodcarving, glass, pottery and printmaking.

Our members welcome studio visits by members of the public who have made a prior appointment.
