Hi, sorry I didn’t make this sketching day but we were on Grandma duties to our Grandson who was a poorly boy with teething problems, although not much better today he’s just so adorable even when he’s not feeling too good.
Hope you all had a great day with a great turn out and lots of of sketching was done.
Sorry you could not come June – you were not the only one unable to make that date. BUT Jean turned up and she put pen to paper and we had a lovely time down by the river! It’s a great venue, so we must arrange that one again.
Hi ,sorry missed Chester sketching but have badly strained my shoulder which is making life a bit difficult at the moment. However on a more cheerful note I have got an exhibition of “musician ” paintings at the Severn Theater in Shrewsbury from April til July, hope members will get to it sometime. The exhibit is in the restaurant area so yo can have a coffee as well.

… and the theatre is a great space to visit as well. Pass us the dates or a flyer, Des, and we’ll make sure the info gets posted here. Sorry to hear about your shoulder – the day was lovely and sunny, not too many tourists, so it was easy to sit on the walls and draw! We’re thinking about possibly going there again, since there’s so much on offer.
hi John-,the dates for my Shrewsbury show are from April 1st (now is`nt that fate) and to the end of June. The paintings are in the restaurant area which is open from 11 til 4pm except for performances when I think its open a bit later-coffee is very good by the way! I will try to get some photos up-I forgot my camera when I erected the show, tant pis!
Went to see the Hockney exhibition which was a mind blower.

That sounds great Des – must get there to see it – good that it’s on for that long!
Hope the shoulder eases soon.
