Tony Roberts – glass artist is offering shared studio space plus equipment – too good to be true for someone poised to branch out with their glass artworks.

> Glass studio share offer.

> I have a studio in Cambrian Buildings behind Sainsburys, in Oswestry, from which I’ve been making, exhibiting and selling garden sculptures. I’m looking to share the studio and its equipment with an enthusiastic warm glass artist, as I’ve had to reduce my working hours after some serious heart problems.

> The studio is in an old railway building surrounded by other studios. It’s about 8x10m in size, and very secure, but with lots of passing public. It has two kilns – one a coffin-shaped sand-bed glass kiln custom made by Laser, the other a cube-shaped ceramic kiln used for glass casting. It also has lots of equipment, from a diamond angle-grinder to hand glass-working tools, and materials, from frits and oxides to resin for laminating. It’s all basic and well-used, but full of possibilities… and of course I’d be delighted to provide helpful comments and ideas if you want them! To see some of the work produced with this equipment, look at my website – http://www.tony-roberts.com.
